Affordable Extended Stay for Travel Nurses & Contract Workers Near Winona, MN

← All Posts·Josh & Mariah Huffman·February 21, 2026

If you're a travel nurse, contract healthcare worker, or traveling professional heading to the Winona–La Crosse area, you've probably already noticed that extended-stay hotel options are limited — and expensive. Camp Everyday Winona offers a genuinely comfortable alternative: weekly and monthly RV rates that put money back in your pocket without sacrificing the basics you need after a long shift.

Why RV Living Works for Travel Assignments

Travel nurses and contract workers have been living the RV lifestyle for years, and for good reason. When you're in a new city for 8–13 weeks, a campsite with full hookups gives you a kitchen, a private bathroom, and your own space — things a hotel room simply can't offer at the same price point.

At Camp Everyday Winona, our weekly and monthly RV sites include:

  • Full hookups — electric, water, and sewer so you're completely self-sufficient
  • Free WiFi across the campground — important for charting, telehealth, or just unwinding
  • Heated shower facilities on-site if you prefer them
  • Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM — because you actually need sleep
  • A calm, bluff-country setting that's a genuine reset after demanding shifts

Close to Winona Health and Mayo Clinic Health System

We're located about 6 miles south of Winona on the Mississippi River bluffs — a straightforward commute to Winona Health, Mayo Clinic Health System–Winona, and other healthcare facilities in the area. La Crosse is about 20 miles east, putting Gundersen Health System and Mayo Clinic Health System–La Crosse within easy reach as well.

Our Extended Stay Rates

We keep it simple:

  • Weekly RV Stays: $300/week
  • Monthly Stays: $20–25/night (billed monthly)

These rates are designed for real extended-stay guests — not the weekend-warrior pricing you'll find elsewhere. Reach out directly to discuss your assignment dates and we'll make sure we have the right site for you.

What to Expect

Camp Everyday Winona is a family-owned campground — not a corporate RV resort. The Huffman family runs it with genuine Midwestern hospitality, and the community of longer-term guests tends to be low-key and respectful of each other's space. Pets are welcome at no extra fee, and kids are too.

We're open May through October. If your assignment overlaps with our season, we'd love to have you. Book online or give us a call at (507) 454-2851 to talk through what works best for your situation.

How to Book

Use our online booking system and select a weekly or monthly rate, or call us directly — we're happy to answer questions about site availability, rig size, or anything else before you commit. We know that for travel assignments, flexibility matters, and we do our best to work with the realities of contract work.
