One of the first questions we hear from new guests is simple: "Which site should I book?" And honestly, there's no wrong answer — but there is a right answer for you. Camp Everyday offers three distinct ways to experience the Mississippi River bluffs, and each one has its own character. Here's how they compare so you can book with confidence.
The RV Rental: Comfort Without the Commitment
If you've ever wanted to try RV camping but don't own a camper, our on-site Outback Ultralite is the easiest way in. It's a full-size travel trailer with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen with a stovetop and microwave, air conditioning and heating, a TV and sound system, and wireless internet. It sleeps up to six guests — a queen bed in the master bedroom and twin bunk beds in the second room.
The key thing about our RV rental is that it's stationary. You don't drive it or tow it. You pull up, walk in, and your vacation starts. Everything is set up and ready to go, including bedding and kitchen essentials. Outside, you've got an awning, a seating area, and a fire ring right at your site.
Rates start at $125 per night with a two-night minimum, and you get full access to all Camp Everyday amenities — the swimming pool, showers, laundry, camp store, Wi-Fi, and any events happening during your stay.
The RV rental is a great fit for families who want real beds and a real bathroom, couples looking for something more interesting than a hotel room, or anyone who's RV-curious and wants to test the lifestyle before buying a camper.
Tent Camping: The Classic Experience
For a lot of people, camping means a tent, a sleeping bag, and a campfire — and our tent sites deliver exactly that. These are traditional campsites set in the bluffs with space for your tent, a fire ring, and a picnic table. You're surrounded by trees and bluff scenery, and the sounds at night are crickets and owls instead of traffic.
Tent camping at Camp Everyday isn't roughing it, though. You still have access to clean restrooms and hot showers, the swimming pool, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and the camp store. So while you're sleeping under the stars, you're not going without the basics.
Tent sites are our most affordable option, which makes them popular with solo travelers, backpackers, young couples, and groups of friends who want a weekend outside without spending a lot. They're also the most flexible — you can set up a small two-person tent or spread out with a larger family setup.
If you love being outside and don't mind trading climate control for fresh air, tent camping here is hard to beat. Morning fog rolling through the bluffs with a cup of coffee in your hand is one of those moments that sticks with you.
Cabin Stays: A Roof and Four Walls
Our cabin accommodations split the difference between the full-featured RV and the simplicity of tent camping. You get a solid roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, and protection from the weather — without needing to bring much gear.
Cabins are popular with guests who want the campground experience but prefer not to sleep on the ground. They're also a good choice when the weather is unpredictable — if rain rolls in, you're dry and comfortable without scrambling to waterproof a tent.
Like all our accommodations, cabin guests get full access to campground amenities including the pool, restrooms, showers, laundry, and Wi-Fi.
How to Decide: Three Questions That Help
After hosting hundreds of families, we've found that three questions usually point people in the right direction.
First, how important is a private bathroom and kitchen? If the answer is very important, the RV rental is your best bet. Two bathrooms and a full kitchen mean you never have to walk to the restroom building at midnight or figure out how to cook breakfast on a camp stove with a toddler on your hip.
Second, what's your budget? Tent sites are the most affordable way to camp with us. The RV rental costs more per night, but when you factor in two bedrooms and a full kitchen for a family of four or five, the per-person value is strong — especially compared to booking multiple hotel rooms in town.
Third, how much gear do you want to bring? Tent camping requires the most preparation — you need a tent, sleeping bags, and cooking equipment at minimum. The RV rental requires the least — just your food and your clothes. Cabins fall somewhere in between.
A Quick Comparison
Here's how the three options stack up at a glance:
- RV Rental: Sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, A/C and heat, TV and sound system, all bedding provided. Starting at $125/night.
- Cabin: Solid shelter with beds, protection from weather, no kitchen or bathroom in unit. Affordable mid-range option.
- Tent Site: Bring your own tent and gear, fire ring and picnic table provided, most affordable option, closest to nature.
All three include full access to Camp Everyday amenities: swimming pool, clean restrooms and showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, camp store, and scheduled events.
You Really Can't Go Wrong
Here's the thing we tell every guest who asks: all three options put you in the same beautiful spot in the bluffs. You'll have the same sunsets, the same campfire smell, the same access to everything Camp Everyday offers. The difference is just how you sleep at night and how much you want to cook for yourself.
If you're still not sure, start with the RV rental. It's the most comfortable entry point, and you can always try tent camping on your next visit once you know the campground. Or do it the other way around — plenty of guests start in a tent and upgrade to the RV once they realize how much they love it here.
Whichever you choose, we'll have everything ready when you arrive. Check our booking page to see what's available for your dates.
